AkashicLibrary Initiative

AkashicLibrary Film Metadata Lab

A nonprofit archive initiative exploring film metadata, preservation structure, collector culture, and public knowledge systems.

AkashicTribe Inc. is developing the AkashicLibrary Film Metadata Lab, an unofficial educational archive and data-literacy initiative exploring how complex collections, messy spreadsheets, research piles, folders, catalogs, and digital archives can be transformed into clearer public knowledge systems. The project grew from a large private research vault and metadata methodology covering 1,300 curated film-disc records, 241 research fields, field maps, evidence ledgers, audit trails, and public/private export workflows. The raw research dataset is not offered for sale; the Lab teaches the archive-building methods behind the work.
